Resources

These are various gyms that can help with you achieving the body type you desire. Where you live may determine the gym you will join. Some gyms with multiple branches are:

  • Gold's Gym
  • Crunch
  • Crossfit
  • 24 Hour Fitness

I realize that not everyone has the resources or funds for a gym membership. You don't need to join a gym to get a workout. You can get a great workout at playgrounds, parks and streets.

Here are the Top 10 Fitness resources by Fees Fitness:

"Things are always changing it seems and what was once deemed great for you can turn into a big no-no in mere months. It's not easy being a good trainer or coach, and it's even harder to be great. I don't think I'm great...yet, but just being good is giving me a run for my money too.

There is always someone out there to question what you're teaching or coaching and why you're teaching it that way. Someone read in this magazine that you're supposed to do X, someone saw on this daytime talk show that the best way to lose weight is to do Y, someone said that their friend dropped two sizes in two weeks doing Z...too much influence out there. Too much money to be made and too much media butting their noses into pure and simple science. What are you supposed to believe?

1. Tony Gentilcore - Other than the fact that he is hilarious, he writes a new blog EVERY DAY! I credit Tony for finally teaching me that lifting heavy things is what makes the magic happen. He talks a lot of performance and sports stuff but shows how it can easily translate to the average weekend warrior's workout.

2. Roman Fitness Systems - John Romaniello might be the most entertaining fitness writer out there. He combines his wit and never-ending training knowledge to create bomb-popular programs like Final Phase Fat Loss and The Super Hero Workout. He knows what works because he has experienced it all. If you're looking to drop body fat, Roman is your guy!

3. T-Nation - This is my Bible. Just about all of the people on this list write for or have written for T-Nation. It's basically an online magazine with articles on everything from fat loss, to nutrition, to bodybuilding, to being a man!

4. Girls Gone Strong - Jen Comas Keck, Marianne Kane, Molly Galbraith, Neghar Fonooni, Nia Shanks, Julia Ladewski, and Alli McKee - These lovely ladies are leading the movement to teach women everywhere that strong is beautiful and lifting heavy weights will not make you bulky. Join their Facebook page, friend them all and get heaps of cutting edge fitness, nutrition, and motivational information. This one isn't just for the ladies either, so don't get it twisted fellas.
